Job Description

The Littleton Police department will be conducting a selection process for the appointment of full-time Communications Officer. This process will also be utilized to create a list of candidates that will expire in one year. A Communications Officer for the Littleton Police Department is responsible for the appropriate response to emergency and non-emergency calls received in the 911 Call Center.

This position of Communications Officer is a Union position within Local 204a of the Massachusetts Coalition of Police and is therefore subject to all clauses within the contract between the town of Littleton and the Union. The starting salary range is $25.65 – 26.94 with ample OT opportunities, paid holidays, clothing allowance, vacation and personal time. Excellent benefits including health, dental, disability and life insurances. Once certified, ability to work additional hours as a Civilian Traffic Regulator.
