Brookline seeks a detail‑oriented and proactive HR Specialist with expertise in workers’ compensation, and leave of absence management. This key role supports employees through medical, injury‑related, and personal leave needs while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
In this position, you will oversee a full range of leave programs, including Workers’ Compensation, Injury on Duty (111F), FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental and military leave, and related benefits. You will serve as a central point of contact for employees, managers, medical providers, insurance carriers, and third‑party administrators, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and timely case progression.
The role includes evaluating workplace injuries under OSHA guidelines, recommending safety improvements, and supporting training on emergency and safety procedures. You will maintain confidential records, prepare reports, and assist with accidental disability retirement documentation.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business , Insurance, or related field, with three to five years experience in workers’ compensation, leave administration, or claims management. Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills are essential.
