Job Description

The town of Bourne, an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, seeks a qualified candidate for a part-time Implementation Coordinator. The Implementation Coordinator will oversee the execution of Bourne’s Opioid Settlement Funds abatement strategy. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, data-driven analysis, grant development, and program administration; or any other duties as assigned. The Coordinator will ensure that selected opioid abatement strategies are effectively implemented, evaluated, and sustained. The position reports directly to the Health Director within the Health Department and works closely with community partners, town leadership, and regional organizations.

Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, social work, or related field; masters degree preferred, and two to four years of experience in public health, grant management, program coordination, or community-based initiatives. Experience in substance use prevention, harm reduction, or treatment programming preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Full/Part Time, Hours and Salary
The position is a LIUNA Unit B – Grade 2, 19 hours/week, non-benefited, grant funded position. Continuation beyond the funding period is not guaranteed.
Hourly Rate starting at $31.59 – $33.03
