The town of Halifax is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to serve as Interim Town Administrator. This temporary leadership role serves under the direction of the Board of Selectmen and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the town’s departments, executing Board policies, and ensuring efficient delivery of municipal services during a transitional period. It is anticipated that this role will last until a permanent Town Administrator begins, likely three to five months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead a dynamic community through a time of transition. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. It is required that the selected candidate be available for at least 20 hours per week, although the Board prefers candidates that have full-time availability.
