The town of Avon seeks qualified applicants for a Kitchen Manager/Head Cook for the Council on Aging. The primary function of this position is to plan, purchase, prepare and serve meals at the Senior Center.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in food services. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communications skills as the position requires considerable interaction with the public. Must obtain SERVE-Safe and CPR certification as well as SERVE-Safe Manager certification. Must have a valid driver’s license. The salary range is $21.58 to $25.80 per hour.
