NOW HIRING – FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER
The Harvard Police department is accepting applications for full-time police officer positions. Harvard is a vibrant community of 6,200 residents located in Worcester County, just 25 miles from Boston along Route 2 and 495.
We are seeking a dedicated, community-oriented officer eager to engage with the public and contribute to public safety in a professional, proactive manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of an MPTC full-time police academy, SSPO, or Bridge Academy with POST certification
Valid MA or NH driver’s license and the ability to obtain a MA LTC
High school diploma required; Associate degree or higher and/or military service preferred
Must reside within 20 miles of Harvard
Salary & Benefits:
Base salary: $60,632–$77,812 (based on experience)
Additional pay for shifts and education (up to 25% for Master’s)
Top step midnight shift officer with a Master’s can earn approx. $101,426
Full benefits, 4/2 schedule, $1,500 uniform allowance, specialty units, and ample paid training
