The town of Sharon is seeking a full-time (30 – 37.5 hours/week, depending on selected candidate’s availability) dedicated Public Health Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in protecting and improving the health of our residents.

As a Public Health Nurse, you will be at the forefront of public health education, disease prevention, and health promotion efforts across the community. You will collaborate with schools, medical professionals, public safety, and community partners to lead health initiatives that truly matter.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing plus one to three years of public health related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. Class D driver’s license and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure required. CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed certification preferred. FEMA courses ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 preferred.

The starting rate is $39.40 per hour, with generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts and retirement plans.
