The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full-time Recreation Coordinator for the Parks and Recreation department. The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations of the Parks and Recreation department by managing the daily clerical duties of the office and performing a variety of recreational programming and administrative duties, requiring creativity and initiative. Incumbent exercises independence in planning and organizing work consistent with goals set by supervisor and department policies, consults supervisor regarding policy issues, disciplinary actions, and new initiatives. Qualifications include an associate degree in recreation or related field; one year of experience supervising recreation programs. Three to five years of advanced office experience with progress through general clerical, secretarial, financial and supervisory positions or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position is $25.89 – $33.84 per hour.
