School Nurse

Come join our dynamic team! The city of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of School Nurse. The purpose of this position is to provide a comprehensive school health services program.; clinical expertise, management skills and an ability to work with students, families, and a range of disciplines within the school and community are required.; responsibilities include both mandated and non-mandated school health services; and all other related work as required and directed. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, hiring salary range: $61,490 – $111,648 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants. The city of Newton will hire nurses who are not yet Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure, but who are eligible for DESE licensure.
