The town of Winchester seeks a qualified individual to serve as the Special Projects Manager. Under the general direction of the Assistant Manager, the Special Projects Manager will provide the following:

  • Oversee the initial budgeting, design, permitting, and construction of various types of building and public works projects.
  • Assist the Assistant Town Manager in the development of a long range capital improvement plan.
  • Manage the Massachusetts General Law requirements for public procurement of services, including Owner’s Project Manager, designer selection, construction contractors, which may include both traditional design-bid-build contracts, filed sub bids and construction manager at risk models.
