The town of Dover is seeking a Senior-Level Town Engineer to lead engineering operations and serve as our first full-time Town Engineer, within the newly formed department of Public Works. This is a high-responsibility, independent position overseeing the design, bidding, and construction management of infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage systems, culverts, water, municipal buildings, parks, and cemeteries. The role also ensures compliance with the town’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit, and acts as the administrator for the town’s Stormwater Authority, Stormwater Bylaw (Ch159). This position will also perform technical reviews of private development and provide expert engineering guidance to other town officials.

This is a full-time, 35-hour a week position, anticipated hiring range is (FY26) $96,652 to $108,178 with the full salary to $122,584 DOQ.
