The 2025 Massachusetts Road Safety Summit, addressing the critical road safety challenges facing cities and towns, will be held on Oct. 30 in Boston.

The free event will explore solutions, share best practices, and enable collaboration. It’s an opportunity to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of road safety in Massachusetts.

Topics for sessions and discussions will include:
• Local Implementation of Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Grants: Municipal leaders share successes and lessons learned.
• Changing Perceptions at the Local Level: Creative approaches to building community buy-in.
• Enforcement and Public Trust — A Candid Conversation: Balancing safety, equity and public confidence.
• Collaborating for Safer Roads — State, City and Town Partnerships: Strengthening collaboration between MassDOT and municipalities.

The summit is presented by Fundación MAPFRE, in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the MMA. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the UMass Club, at 1 Beacon St.
