The MMA is a sponsoring organization of the 2022 virtual MassRecycle Conference and Trade Show, which will be held on the afternoon of March 31 and the morning of April 1.
As cities and towns continue to face challenges associated with the increased cost of providing solid waste and recycling services and meeting new regulatory requirements, MassRecycle’s conference is an opportunity to learn and share practical solutions and network with professionals.
The conference will address solid waste and recycling-related topics that affect municipalities large and small. The conference features informational workshops, trade show exhibitors, and opportunities for further engagement. Topics will include compliance with the latest waste bans affecting municipal waste and recycling; diverting food waste from landfills, and advocating for extended producer responsibility legislation.
The virtual trade show provides a platform to meet vendors, including companies that can manage items that will be subject to a forthcoming waste ban, such as mattresses and textiles.
