Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
On Jan. 20, the MMA will unveil a new online tool that will enable the state’s municipal energy managers to find answers to questions as well as a repository of documents such as RFPs and technical specifications.
More than a simple website, the new resource will use social networking to create an online community designed specifically for municipal energy managers and energy committees in Massachusetts.
The project is being funded by a grant from the Department of Energy Resources.
Energy managers can view a demonstration and join the new online community by stopping by the MMA’s booth during the MMA’s Annual Meeting & Trade Show on Jan. 20-21 in Boston.
Also at the Annual Meeting, the MMA will host a meeting for those who would like to move forward with forming an association of municipal energy management employees and volunteers.
