Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Massachusetts Municipal Human Resources, a member group of the MMA, is seeking nominations for its 2026-27 Board of Directors.
Any individual with HR responsibilities from a member municipality or other governmental unit may complete the nomination form and submit their name for consideration.
The deadline is April 30.
The MMHR Board consists of four officers — chair, vice chair, treasurer, and secretary — and nine directors. Nominations are currently open for all officers and three directors.
MMHR Board responsibilities include strategic planning, overseeing the work of MMHR’s Program Committee, organizational decision-making, mentorship, and supporting event planning and execution. (See list of board position descriptions and estimated time commitments.)
After interviewing all applicants, the MMHR Nominating Committee will prepare a final slate of candidates for election during the MMHR Annual Meeting in June.
