The MMA publishes classified ads in The Beacon and this Web site from units of government, public agencies, and individuals.

Classified advertising categories are:
• Employment
• Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Services

Only one job opening or request for proposals can be listed per ad. The MMA cannot assume responsibility for information or claims made in any advertisement. You do not need a member account on this website to submit a job ad.

Ad rates

Classified ad rates include publication in The Beacon and on the MMA’s Web site, though a discount is available for those who request placement of an ad only in The Beacon or on the Web.

Member rates
• $95 for first 100 words; $45 for each additional block of up to 50 words
• Rate for one format only (print or Web site): $70 for first 100 words, $35 for each additional block of up to 50 words

Nonmember rates
• $145 for first 100 words; $70 for each additional block of up to 50 words
• Rate for one format only (print or Web site): $105 for first 100 words, $55 for each additional block of up to 50 words

Placing an ad

To place or change a classified ad you can:
• Use our convenient online form
• Email the ad in a Word document or text in body of email with billing information to job_ads@mma.org
• Website ads are posted within 24-48 hours upon submission.
• A confirmation email that includes the price of the ad will be sent when its posted.

The Beacon is published on the first business day of each month, except in the summer, when a combined July/August issue is printed in mid-July.
