The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business Development Grant program promotes economic development and job creation projects.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business-Cooperative Service is accepting applications for the Rural Business Development Grant program, which promotes economic development and job creation projects.

The application deadline is June 30.

Eligible applicants include county governments, special district governments, state governments, municipal governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, nonprofits and non-higher education with 501(c)(3) status, and public and state institutions of higher education.

Applications will compete in two separate categories: business opportunity grants and business enterprise grants.
