Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Thank goodness for the MMA Annual Meeting, as all of us have a critical need to connect! From across the Commonwealth, we can support each other and share our experiences, and come back to our individual towns and cities with new tools and connections, better equipped to get to work.
Municipal government is a great place to work! Cities and towns deliver a wide range of essential, quality-of-life services directly to residents: education, public safety, public works, libraries and much more. Municipalities offer a safe and stable work environment and great benefits. If you want to do work that really matters, local government may be the place for you!
