UMass-Amherst will host its annual Amherst Area Employers Internship Fair on Friday, Sept. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The fair connects UMass-Amherst students seeking work and internship opportunities in the area during the school year with local employers looking for interns for work support or project-based work.
Examples of internship work areas include communications and marketing, data, statistics and analytics, research, technology, database and website development, creative arts and design, finance and accounting, writing, editing and content development, sales, and lab work.
The registration fee is $100 for companies and $50 for nonprofits and government entities. Admission is free for arts and cultural organizations. The registration fee includes a table for up to two company representatives, parking in the campus garage, and advertising of the event to students.
The event will be held at the Campus Center Auditorium, 1 Campus Center Way in Amherst.
