Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Massachusetts Municipal Communicators, an affiliate group of the MMA, is seeking nominations for its vice chair position.
Any individual with communications responsibilities from a member municipality may complete the nomination form and submit their name for consideration.
The deadline is Friday, Nov. 13.
The MMC’s leadership consists of two officers: chair and vice chair. Nominations are currently open for vice chair, a two-year term beginning in January 2027.
Vice chair responsibilities include attendance at MMC webinars, training sessions and meetings, including virtual and in-person events; generating program ideas; participating in outreach and in sessions when needed; and supporting the chair and stepping in when necessary to lead member or committee meetings.
After interviewing applicants, the MMC leadership will appoint the vice chair during Connect 351, the MMA’s annual conference, on Friday, Jan. 22.
