8:45 am – 1:00 pm

The safety of citizens and students is a top priority of local government managers and public safety personnel at all times. Are you prepared if there’s an active shooter incident at your high school? When was the last time you performed a sight inspection of your town buildings? Who’s authorized to lock town hall or the senior center in an emergency? MMMA members are welcome to invite their police chief or emergency management director to register and attend this informative panel discussion exploring how some towns have evaluated and addressed some of these issues. Massachusetts Maritime Academy will focus on the Tabletop Exercise Community Support Program they offer to towns that can assist them with this process and some of their successes.
