Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
This meeting will feature a discussion on gender identity in the workplace and how municipalities can prepare policies to accommodate all employees.
The meeting will cover best practices for dealing with gender identity in the workplace, sample policies for transitioning employees, and resources available for internal training.
The first half of the session will be taught by the Massachusetts Trans Political Coalition, and the second half will be a practitioner panel featuring attorney Regina Ryan, principal of Descrimination and Harassment Solutions LLC, and Dolores Hamilton, human resources director in Framingham.
The meeting will include a legislative update by MMA Senior Legislative Analyst Lisa Adams and a brief report about the MMPA Fall Conference.
The registration fee is $40 for MMPA members and $55 for nonmembers.
