Municipal Health Insurance Update
This session will focus on the key provisions of the Health Connector and options for municipal employees. The session will include a brief update on the Affordable Care Act and will examine the status of the Cadillac tax, its purpose and coverages and the taxes involved. Seasoned MMPA members will moderate this program to address lessons learned in health care. There will be ample opportunity for Q&A.

Lunch and Networking

Meeting cost: $40 for attendees from member communities/businesses, $55 for attendees from nonmember communities/businesses

Cancellation policy: If you register but are unable to attend, refunds will be issued upon written request for all cancellations received by Friday, April 1. After that date, we will be committed to a count with the facility and you will be billed regardless of attendance.

Reminders: Bring a photo ID to enter the building, and allow 10-15 minutes for the check-in process at the security desk.

Transportation and Parking Information:
• Parking is available at Necco Street Garage, 10 Necco St., Boston, and South Station Parking Garage, 185 Kneeland St., Boston.
• South Station, located directly across from Federal Reserve Plaza at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Summer Street, provides commuter rail access.
• MBTA access includes the Red Line and the Silver Line at South Station.
