Filing your Emergency 1/12th Budget Spending Request
As Authorized under Chapter 53 of the Acts of 2020, Section 5 Due to COVID-19
There is a lot of uncertainty about holding Annual Town Meeting this year and many small towns have delayed their meetings until sometime in June (or later).
Even if you expect to hold your Annual Town Meeting prior to July 1, the Division of Local Services is encouraging communities to file a 1/12 budget request for approval prior to June 30th as a precautionary measure.
Hadley Town Administrator David Nixon has filed his 1/12th budget request with the DLS and has agreed to share his plan and walk attendees through his process.
