Town Meeting and Municipal Elections have evolved since Norman Rockwell painted his famous “Freedom of Speech” in 1943. But COVID-19 has challenged communities in a way that was hard to predict and certainly nobody was prepared for.

On Wednesday, June 3 the MMA will offer a “Practical Guide to Town Meeting & Elections During COVID-19” webinar to all select board members, finance committee members and town managers and administrators.

KP Law Managing Partner Lauren Goldberg will lead this free, 90-minute session, beginning at 4 p.m. Speakers will include Lexington Town Manager Jim Malloy, who will discuss holding the first ever remote representative town meeting just a few days prior, and Sandwich Town Manager Bud Dunham who will speak about a successful state and local election held in mid-May.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Pre-registration is required. Please contact Denise Baker, dbaker@mma.org or Isabelle Nichols, inichols@mma.org, to register for this webinar.
