Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Due to an increasing number of people being diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus and out of an abundance of concern for the health of our members and staff, MMA is canceling the Suffolk Certificate information session scheduled for Thursday, March 12. At this time, we have not determined if this session will be rescheduled. We will keep you posted.
The MMA and Suffolk University will hold information sessions in March about the 2020-2021 Certificate in Local Government Leadership and Management, to be held in Danvers and Shrewsbury.
Prospective students are encouraged to attend a session to learn more about the program, meet Suffolk University instructors, and hear from alumni. No registration is required.
The program is designed for municipal employees interested in furthering their professional degree in local government. The graduate-level classes, taught by Suffolk faculty, are held on 25 Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning in September and ending in May.
If you cannot attend and have questions about the program, or for more information, visit www.mma.org/certificate or contact Katie McCue at the MMA at (617) 426-7272, ext. 111, or kmccue@mma.org.
