Governor Charlie Baker at the 2016 MMA Annual Meeting & Trade Show

Gov. Charlie Baker has confirmed that he will be attending and speaking at the MMA Annual Meeting on Saturday morning, Jan. 21.
 
Gov. Baker will be addressing a packed house of local officials from across the state on the second day of Annual Meeting, delivering his remarks at the MMA’s Annual Business Meeting at 10:15 a.m. at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
 
The governor will be submitting his fiscal 2018 budget recommendation four days later, on Jan. 25. In the past, the governor has typically shared details on certain budget proposals for important issues like local aid and transportation.
 
Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito will offer greetings during the Annual Meeting’s opening session on Friday, Jan. 20.
